Students bring kitchen items
to the Music Room and discuss the various "musical qualities" of each of
their choices.
Terminology such as percussion,
strings, and wind instruments are used. The students then learn about
"marching" and the march-style of music. They enjoy marching to Sousa's,
"King Cotton March."
