1998 - 1999 Advanced Performance
Grades 4 & 5:

12 students from Gr. 4-5 were chosen to work
with Mrs. Voigt, learning the special art of "clowning." They attended
a "clown graduation and show" that was put on by the Mt. Pleasant Professional
Clowns. They created their own characters and names, created their
own costumes and makeup, studied and performed a variety of specialized
skits, worked with many props and tricks, and then performed 12 shows at
school, 3 hours of skits at the Maple Syrup Festival eating areas, and
performed during the Maple Syrup Parade.
