In 1962 Mrs. Voigt's Great-Grandfather-in-law, Andrew Voigt, was inducted
into the Hall of Fame of Great Westerners of the National Cowboy Hall of
Fame and Western Heritage Center. He shares his place of honor with
other great Westerners such as President Theodore Roosevelt, Buffalo Bill
Cody, Sacagawea, Brigham Young, President Ronald Reagan, Gene Autry, etc.
In 2001 Andrew Voigt received a second
honor when the citizens of North Dakota inducted him into the North Dakota
Cowboy Hall of Fame for Ranching.
