Whenever possible, Mrs. Voigt tries to give students an "extra" opportunity to perform.  This year, Shepherd Elementary has initiated a "morning opening" where inspirational words are shared with the students over the loud speaker.    Music students from Mrs. Sponseller's class sang for the school, "This is the Day."  An inspirational song encouraging their fellow classmates to "Climb the mountains" in our lives, "make our way" through anything we encounter, and "do our best!"
